Scientific Anglers Uniform Sink Plus - Type IV

Scientific Anglers was the first company to come out with the idea of a line that had increased density at the tip of the line so that the line didn't sag when it sank. Today, SA offers the newer version of that original line, called Uniform Sink Plus. Uniform Sink Plus has a true gradual density coating that increases the sink rate of the line as you get closer to the tip. That means as your line sinks, it stays in a straight line for optimal sensitivity, strike detection, and hook setting power. This gradual density coating, plus a unique taper design, creates an excellent casting line compared to some other sinking lines. The type IV sink rate sinks at 4.0 to 5.0 inches per second and is ideal in waters where you want to fish in the 8- to 18-foot depths. Color is charcoal gray/blue. Total length is 90 feet.
