Sage TXL Rods
That's right. Sage has launched the new TXL series of rods which includes their new "000-weight" or "triple-ought" fly rod. From the 000-weight up to a more traditional 4-weight, the TXL rods are just made for boulder-hopping your way up that little stream you dream about, hitting little pockets behind the boulders as you go, hooking aggressive little trout on dry flies all day long. The TXL rods use Sage's new G5 Technology which makes them so incredibly lightweight you will feel like you are casting with a feather in your hand. The same G5 Technology also makes these rods stronger so they are less susceptible to breakage. Their action on the TXL rods is medium-action which makes them perfect for short casts and hitting close range targets with pinpoint accuracy. Next time you are on a small stream fishing dry flies, take along a new TXL and enjoy every cast and every fish on a whole new level.
